Training with us
To start training with us, you need to first join our club. We welcome new members on the first Saturday of most months, and the first Thursday of most quarters.

When joining, bring your completed membership form, your dog/s vaccination or titre certificate/s, and cash to pay your membership fee.
​Fees: $15 new individual membership, $20 new family membership
Our classes
Our team of dedicated volunteers offer training in obedience, rally, and agility each week. Find out more below.
Obedience Foundations
In our 4-week obedience foundations program, you and your dog will learn the fundamentals of dog training. You will teach your dog to sit, drop, and walk beside you.
Completion of our obedience foundations program is mandatory to progress to obedience and rally lessons.

Fees: $20 for 4 weeks
New intake: Monthly
Agility Foundations
In our 4-week agility foundations program, you and your dog will learn the fundamentals of agility. You will learn to motivate your dog and build their confidence with obstacles.
Completion of our agility foundations program is mandatory to progress to agility lessons.

Fees: $40 for 4 weeks
New intake: Feb, May, Aug, Nov
Obedience
In our weekly obedience classes, you and your dog will continue to build on the skills you learned in our obedience foundations program. You will teach your dog to heel, stay, and come when called.
We offer 3 levels of weekly obedience classes to cater for everyone - from those who simply want to have fun, to those who want to enter trials. Progression through levels is at instructor discretion.

Fees: $5 per week
Agility
In our weekly agility classes, you and your dog will continue to build on the skills you learned in our agility foundations program. You will learn to handle your dog through an agility course.

We offer 3 levels of weekly agility classes, for those who are still building drive and confidence, to those who are competing ​in agility. Progression through levels is at instructor discretion.

Fees: $5 per week
Rally
Each week, our experienced rally instructor sets a variety of rally courses and provides 1:1 feedback. Rally involves working together with your dog to complete basic obedience exercises in a numbered course.

Rally classes are intended for those who are ready to start trialing in rally. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tricks
Twice per month, our enthusiastic tricks instructor delivers a tricks workshop. In our tricks workshops, you will learn how to teach your dog a variety of tricks.
​
Tricks workshops are open to all, and focus on teaching ANKC tricks for those interested in trialing.
